"What we're really asking for is simple justice," Crump said. "We're not asking for anything extraordinary. They just want what anybody else would want if their children were shot down in broad daylight." cheap jordan 11 PARIS, Aug 4, (Agencies): Israel faced growing international condemnation of its actions in Gaza on Monday after a strike near a UN school sheltering civilians left 10 people dead and sparked widespread outrage. As Israel’s operation in the besieged territory entered its 28th day, the international community appeared to be losing patience with a confrontation the Palestinians say has left more than 1,800 dead in Gaza. French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius led the charge, issuing one of the most strongly worded condemnations yet from a Western official. “How many more deaths will it take to stop ... the carnage in Gaza?” Fabius said in a statement. “Israel’s right to security is total, but this right does not justify the killing of children and the slaughter of civilians,” Fabius said. “A political solution is essential ... and should in my opinion be imposed by the international community,” he said. Fabius’s statement prompted some to praise Western officials for at last taking a tougher line with Israel. “Finally! This is very, very good. The systematic targeting of civilians and schools must be denounced,” said Yves Aubin de la Messuziere, a retired French diplomat and expert on the Middle East. “We should be brave enough to point the finger of blame, of course at Hamas but also at Israel,” he said. n cheap toms

"I will be working for as long as I'm employable. I will never be able to retire," said Anderson. cheap oakley sunglasses The issue: Incumbent Sen. Fred Emerich, R-Cheyenne, is being challenged by state Rep. Lynn Hutchings for the District 5 seat.We believe: Mr. Emerich is a hard-working, rational lawmaker. Ms. Hutchings is neither. We recommend Mr. Emerich.Tell us what you think: Contact us via email at .The race in the Republican primary for state Senate District 5 presents a stark contrast to voters. On one hand, there is the challenger, state Rep. Lynn Hutchings. In her previous two times with the WTE Editorial Board - she declined to be interviewed this year - she has proven to be long on platitudes and politics and short on a real understanding of the issues facing the state. Her opponent, incumbent state Sen. Fred Emerich, is focused on getting things done. Political perspective might be important to him, but getting things accomplished is a higher priority. He does his homework, thinks things through and chooses pragmatism over preaching. In our book, it is the latter approach that will best serve the people of Laramie County, and in particular SD 5. That is why we are recommending Sen. Fred Emerich in the Aug. 19 primary. He has approached his job seriously - not as a religious pulpit - and he deserves a chance to continue in that vein. The winner of this race gets the seat unless there is late opposition from other parties. There is no Democratic challenger. When Ms. Hutchings met with the board two years ago, she said she had learned a lot about the issues compared to her first run for office in 2010. She hadn't. And it appears she still is not focused on the issues that are on the state's agenda.Looking at her website, Ms. Hutchings seems mainly concerned about social issues. She invokes God and the Constitution at every turn instead of stating her views on Wyoming's challenges. She states on her site that her policy is to first look at what God dictates, then consider the U.S. Constitution and state Constitution, then see what her party wants her to do, then, finally, she considers how her decision will affect her constituents. So the residents in Senate District 5 really would be an afterthought? In terms of her performance in the House, Ms. Hutchings also has displayed little understanding of what is going on there. We are told she held up several bills in committee while trying to decide on which way to vote - perhaps she was running through her checklist? - and some lawmakers say it is obvious that she doesn't do her homework. And then there are Ms. Hutchings' outlandish comments that have made Wyoming a laughingstock of the nation. For example, she certainly is welcome to oppose gay marriage. But to cast AIDS in such terms as GRID (gay-related immune deficiency) as she has done is just plain ignorant, given that the disease is prevalent globally in both genders and all sexual orientations. And her claim that homosexuals' lifestyle is harmful to them displays the sort of ignorance that the Cowboy State can do without. And what about Ms. Hutchings' recent appearance in Casper when she threatened the State Board of Education for even talking about the Next Generation Science Standards? Since when can lawmakers steal the First Amendment away from their fellow Americans? As for the issues facing the state, the lawmaker has little to offer. She states on her website that government spending should be cut, which we agree with, but she never says how to do it. Residents are looking for a senator who has an eye toward solutions. Ms. Hutchings seems to have none.Mr. Emerich, on the other hand, has clear views on key issues. While he says he has no particular agenda should he be re-elected - it would be nice to know what he really wants to do - he does seem to grasp the complexities of issues and his proper role in the state Senate.Mr. Emerich prides himself for not being dogmatic, instead thinking through the issues that confront him, and we appreciate that. It is important for lawmakers to work in the real world and to study the facts, not just fire off platitudes. We also like that Mr. Emerich understands the key issues facing the state: He said education and improving Wyoming's business climate are his top concerns.Mr. Emerich was one of only a few candidates we saw who recognized the hypocrisy of state officials stepping in to halt science standards while trying to upgrade science and technology programs at the University of Wyoming. He said holding back Next Generation could be a disaster for the state. We couldn't agree more. The senator also is a strong supporter of legislative efforts to move the schools along. Because of that, he backed - as did we - the controversial Senate File 104, which tried to stop the state superintendent from blocking efforts to hold schools and teachers accountable.Mr. Emerich also supports the proposal to make the superintendent an appointed position, and he likes the Common Core Standards. We're with him on those as well.Mr. Emerich's position on the 1.6 billion rainy-day account also is an enlightened one. Unlike many Chicken Little lawmakers, he doesn't think the sky is falling. Thus, he would like to see some of the money in the account used to improve infrastructure, including highways. Bravo. As a strong proponent of coal, the senator said he is excited about soon-coming technological advances to produce a cleaner product that does not pollute the air. We hope he is right about that.Mr. Emerich, unlike his opponent, is not a fiery politician set on furthering his own personal political agenda and religious point of view. He prides himself on getting things done rather than preaching on social issues. The Senate needs lawmakers like state Sen. Fred Emerich, who think issues all the way through before deciding how to vote. We believe he is the right choice for voters in Senate District 5, and we recommend him in the Aug. 19 primary. b fake ray ban sunglasses

u There was plenty in that official readout to annoy Israeli officials: the demand for an immediate cease-fire; the talk of regional and international coordination seen in Jerusalem as a heavy nod to the involvement of Hamas s supporters Qatar and Turkey; a call to address Gaza s long-term development and economic needs, without a similar call to get rid of Hamas; and of course placing demilitarization of Gaza into the wider context of a comprehensive Israeli-Palestinian agreement. ugg boots australia Updated: Tuesday, December 31 2013 7:40 PM EST2014-01-01 00:40:18 GMTThe Mississippi State Bulldogs close out their football season this afternoon against Conference USA champs Rice University in the AutoZone Liberty Bowl in Memphis. First, Hamas is very bad. It really and truly is dedicated to Israel s destruction. It is willing to engage in Palestinian child sacrifice in order to kill Jews. He also says that "simple appeals to international norms" are insufficient in Washington's bid to contain China, and there have to be tough mechanisms to deal with China if the United States thinks China is breaching these norms.
