Re:wife Carol - 2006/05/24 13:06
Hello dear friends, Its been awhile. Wes and Carol your new house sounds like a real answer to prayer. Nothing like looking out at nature to help a heart heal. Trent's last court date, he was bound over to Superior court and tomorrow at 1:00 is his 1st day in superior court. Please pray, we need you. Last week my son and daughter-in-law separated after 7 years. They have 2 kids Clayton and Jada(6 and 2). Patrick seemed to be doing ok with it and then he was admitted to the hospitals d-tox ward. He's been there 3 days and is being sent out on his own tomorrow. I didn't even know he was drinking, so this all has been quite a shock. Thanks for listening! Love and Prayers, Vicky

Wes, I'm really glad Carol is doing better and also that you got the house. It sounds very healthful and peaceful.

Vicky, I am praying for Trent and for Patrick too. And you too. Hang in there.

Nancy

Hi guys, Its 3:30 and I just got home. Trent was supposed to have another bond reduction hearing today, but the prosecuting attorney forgot to send out the supenas so it was continued until June 8th. I just have to keep believing that Gods not ready for him to be released yet. There must be more lessons for him to learn. Thanks for all you prayers and concern. Love, Vicky

Vicky, we are still praying for God's best for Trent and your family. We are believing that God has a special plan for you and your family and that somehow this might turn out to be a tremendous turning point for you and yours. We know that you and your family have endured a lot during the past few years, we know a little bit ourselves about enduring, but after much tribulation we are seeing a turning point in our own lives. Carol continues to improve with a lot of prayer and a lot of medicine, but improvement is coming. The Good Lord opended up a house for us to buy even when we thought we could never even think about it and would rather have moved closer to family out west. Frankly Carol was so near death many times in the last few months and years that we had no hope for her survival. But for whatever reason God has chosen not to take her home yet, and is allowing her to improve. We are humbly grateful Carol does have another relatively minor surgery on Tuesday to widen an artery in her arm through the use of an angioplasty. She already had an artificial artery put in a few weeks ago but this is in a slightly different area and they feel they can just use the angioplasty to accomplish what they want. As soon as that is complete, she starts the plasmapheresis treatment next Thursday. If everything works the way it is supposed to that will further give her the strength to continue the battle against the cancer and the Myasthenia Gravis at the same time. The medical advances and treatment are great, but God's leading is even better. We can never repay his grace to us. By seeing what is happening to us, I hope that gives you and your family some insight as to what God can do for you. I believe that he is working already and shouldn't be surprised by the results of his work. We will continue to pray for you and your family. Please keep us in your prayers as well. Wes and Carol.

Wes, I'm thrilled to hear all the good news about Carol. Her letters and cards have been such a blessing to me. This will be my last post on this web-site, from now on please e-mail me directly and I will do the same. I recieved an e-mail from (name edited by admin) who apparently visits the web-site from time to time. It was very crass, rude, and foul! I don't know why he feels he has the right to talk to me that way, but he won't be able to evesdrop on any of my conversations again. I feel like our site has been tainted. I've never read anything so sad and bitter as what he sent. I believe he needs all of our prayers. I will write you soon on your work e-mail. Hang in there and thanks. Give Carol a hug for me. Love, Vicky
