Hi, Wes, How is your wife doing?

Robert, I have a few photos from the reunion. Is it possible for me to post them on the website, or do I need to email them to Sandy?

Nancy

Nancy,

I guess the answer to your question depends upon how many pictures you have, and where you want them posted.

As a "registered user" (which you are!) the system lets you attach photos to messages in the forums. You can see an example of this where I posted a picture of my daughter and I in a message. An example of this type of photo entry can be seen at http://christianminstrels.dreamhosters.com/component/ option,com_simpleboard/Itemid,/func,view/catid,2/id,12/#12 Of course, the photos will only be viewed from within the forum, and you want to be careful about their "size" (both in dimension and KB!) for them to look good. These pictures should be processed so that they are approximately 400 pixels wide, and are no more than approximately 40-50KB in size.

If you have a lot of picutres, and/or you want them in one of the galleries, you should email them to Sandy so she can process them for size and add them to a gallery (we don't presently allow "registered" users to add to the galleries).

Alternately, if you want, I can set you up a gallery of your own, and you can add to it yourself.

Just let me know what you want to do.

Regards,
Robert

Hi Nancy, thanks for asking. Carol's broken arm is healing well. Went to the orthopedic doctor a few days ago and he said she would have the cast on a few more weeks, but it is coming OK. The only trouble is that it is the same hand and arm where she receives her chemotherapy every two weeks. They have to alternate the IV between a port just below the shoulder and the arm where the break is. It is a real pain but it seems it is the only way to keep her alive. We are grateful she is responding favorably to the chemo. We are going to try to get her out of the house long enough to go see our daughter and family in Denver over Christmas. She does not get to do a whole lot, but this usually gives her something to look forward to. How are you doing? Just saw Charlyn Ellis's picture in the gallery a few minutes ago. Looks great. I have not seen her since Junior High. A group of us used to walk home from school together for at least a few blocks. Charlyn, Dana Walling, Ken Harrison, and a few others from back then. Keep those pictures and notes coming, we really appreciate them. Thanks, Wes

Hi Wes, Hope you don"t mind my reply to Nancy's message. This is the first I've heard about your wifes broken arm and cemo. You and your family have been added to my prayer list. The C.M's as a whole and individually have witnessed the power of prayer, so when we all start praying who knows what can happen!
Take care, Vicky

Dear Bob, Just read Wes' message. I think we need to start aprayer list of needs and answers to our prayers. Do you think this would work as part of the web-site. Just a thought, let us know, Vicky

Hi Vicky and all. I appreciate your help. I agree with you, if somehow we could include a prayer request list or something like that I think many would appreciate it. I know that in a group the size of ours there have to be many serious needs from time to time that could use the prayers of many of us. I know in the past how bad I felt when I did not find out until months or years later about a friend who was having a very difficult time. I know because of distance and separation that I did not find out about my friend Dana and what he and Lou Ann and family were going through until long after he passed away. I noticed that other friends such as Doug Tippitt and Pat Francis passed away. I had no clue. I noticed that we actually lived within 25 miles of Pat and did not even know until the web site showed her a few weeks ago. Even with the distance our friends and family can be in prayer for each other. Like close family I know that this group is only concerned with the well being of others in our group regardless of circumstances. That is a major part of what is so neat about the CM's. Thank you all for being family. Wes Burger
