I suspect our parents *do* keep in touch, and it is great to see you posting here in the forum. I also hope to see some more messages!
Haven't headed for the gulf yet, though that still might happen, as a company I'm affilliated with does a lot of security work for the oil companies in the area. For now, I'm still in California trying to stay busy and out of trouble.
